hello all! im back from my absence, if u are still reading this blog that is, haha...its been such a long time since i had that urge to blog...its coming to the end of june and half of 2011 has already flown away, and im coming to my last year of school...
indeed so many wonderful things have happened this year so far, all the great people who made my first of 2o11 great, plus all the fun times and happenings, be it in church or school, life has been great...
and now, its june! has so far been pretty happening, and the taiwan trip with school last month has so far been the most wonderful memory of this holiday, apart from that, things werent so great...i lost 3 of my most beloved valuables, all in a day and it seemed like im being punished just because i wanted to go for a swim...lost my iphone, a leather wallet i bought from italy which i loved so much, and last but not least a watch...all were in a locker and then vanished into thin air that instantly. at that point of time, i felt so lost and confused, and of course my heart sank...all 3 items meant alot to me in my heart
the iphone had been a cool and faithful gadget to me the past half a year since i first got it last dec, keeping me company with music, apps like plants vs zombies and of course, being something that i can use to message and talk to other people without the worry of it hanging and dying on me unlike my sony ericsson phone, and of course, its a gadget which allows me to do so many things along my journeys and everywhere i go, things that i once only could do with my computer, now i could do anywhere i liked, anytime, and at that moment when it was gone and i had to go back to those old days before my iphone existed, i felt like i lost everything overnight
so now i bought a nokia phone from 7 eleven and currently using it for the time being, and im slowly getting used to it and reverting back to a pauper stage, and now im still in the process of recovery and moving forward from here

Share Knowledge, Share the Bag
omg its been a really long time since i last blogged...been few months and this place is really full of dust alr...well, and im back, at least for now...
anyways school has begun for me for 2 weeks already, and am going for my 3rd week, and so far for the first 2 weeks of sch this sem, i think that this semester's first 2 wks isnt as hectic as compared to last semester, and i rmb clearly that the first wk of last sem was really hectic, and on top of that i had to do 10 A3 sketches per week, which does add a big load onto the pile, but still, its only a matter of time till school becomes really hectic
nevertheless im thankful to God for quite a few good lecturers this semester, lecturers who are really approachable and really willing to go the extra mile to help u..

so here's my first assignment i did during the first week of sch...=)
its actually a competition organized by clementi public library to try and get people to return the bag to the library after they are done with it, so yup, ive submitted my entry via email to the people, so just hoping that i might win something...=)
well i submitted another version with a different font for the 'share the bag', but im kinda lazy to go into illustrator and save it again just to upload here...haha..
ive actually got lots more things to say, but i think ill just leave those for next time...=)

Long time no see guys!
wheee! its been a really loooooong time since ive last visited this space myself...in fact, i havent been blogging since sch started...and yup, im coming to halfway through my course already! so fast...im having my mid-semester break now and this one week long break is coming to an end already...this 1 week break has been rather tight i should say, meeting and catching up with ppl and at the same time catching up on the sleep i lost due to sch...and not forgetting some assignments that needs to be worked on during the holidays...
well sch has been great...im liking what im doing now and i thank God for giving me great friends around me and somehow they play a big role in making me look forward to go to sch...new classmates are pretty fun and nice to hang around with, though alot of my classmates are rather talented...and yup, yr 2 life hasnt been that easy but yup im still surviving and coping quite well...hmmm i guess the real hell will begin after the break...
looking back, i never thought i could come this far, and yup i realized i did move on quite alot already...just had a random catch-up session wif the clique last sat after svc at waraku and the session felt kinda weird to me to be honest, maybe its cos we havent seen each other for a very long time since the clique got disbanded, and i realize that weird feeling in me wasnt the same, but i found that i could hardly relate to them alr...maybe its becos im like the odd one out in the clique since long ago? i dont reli have any common interests with them, im not interested in dota and neither are they interested in jap stuffs like me...its amazing how i could still hang out with them despite our differences last time, but the gathering last week made me feel more out of place than last time when they talked about things i found quite hard to relate to...dont get me wrong, i have nothing against them and they are still my friends but somehow it just felt weird for me that day...
well, i can say that ive learnt alot these few yrs, and yup moving on well thanks to my other friends from church and nafa...

First week of School
yep, 1 week of school has passed and well...got loads of work to do already...no surprise cos this is year 2 already...and i love my new class though its rather small...still in the process of adapting to the new class and each other, but the first week has been rather nice...lecturers seemed ok and quite nice...
hmmm in spite of the tons of homework that came flooding into my life since day 1 already, i began to realize one thing, and that is this course that ive chosen seems to really be the right one for me...amidst all the complaints ive posted on my fb about having lots of work, im rather enjoying what im doing right now as compared to 2 years back when i was in interactive media in nyp...really ought to thank God for His mercy and grace...=)
the next few months aint going to be easy months...im gonna have to forgo alot of outings...but well those upcoming appointments for 21st birthday celebrations and the rcc bbq will definitely be a must go so dont worry folks and buddies...=)

Nafa module registration system can go fly kite
grrr...this is the con of a first come first served basis in terms of module registration for elective module...thank goodness i arrived at the system early and so i managed to register my modules in time...now some of the others im talking to online on fb/msn cant log in cos the system's jammed up...everyone's fighting to log in early so as to get the electives they want before it gets full wif no more vacancy...
this is the 2nd time the registration system spoilt my mood...the first being last yr during my church camp...i rmb i had to borrow james' lappie to do the registration at tan tock seng hospital food court...had a big headache thinking of where to fit in the electives i wanted into my class timetable...and the SAS module i wanted at that time were all gone as well and in the end i forced myself to take that arts management...but eventually i managed to plan my timetable quite nicely...but to be honest, for that day it half-spoilt my mood for the amazing race (to james if u are reading it)...HAHA! xD
the system says that registration for the yr 2s begins today, 8th july at 9am...the yr 3s got to register first, 3 days before our turn...and i already predicted that there might not be any more vacancy for what i wanted and true enough, there's already no more vacancy for that SAS music or SAS dance when i was registering ...heng for me i managed to get the theatre one in time...but that would mean that i have to travel all the way to sch for a 1 hr lesson on fridays...the dance one at least is 2 hrs so not that bad...plus 7 wks nia and that means after 7 wks, no more classes on fridays already...such a waste of time and ez link card money on fridays when i can sleep in more and stay at home to work on my assignments...and the timings they gave for the electives seriously suck this time round..
i think the system's pretty unfair cos the 8 SAS modules class sizes are so tiny and the yr 3s from the whole of nafa get to occupy the spaces first...(last yr was yr 3, followed by yr 2 and we were the last to be able to register)...and in order to graduate in time, we must take 3 out of the 8 SAS modules...and this is the 2nd time alot of ppl couldnt get ANY SAS modules cos all of them were already full...but well...i still needa thank God that im able to get it in time...
and another thing i needa thank God for is ive got the class ive wanted! yay! =D (though im prolly gonna be so groggy and grumpy coming to sch after overnight battles with assignments) but nevertheless, yay! =D
and matt, be prepared for a ride of yr life as yr 2 starts! God, give me strength to run and finish it well!! =)
