Final week of Isp

this is it...the last lap of my first yr...the final week of my integrated studio project (isp)...so cant wait for it to be over..

so far this time round's isp aint that fun...kinda sucky and pretty demoralizing if u asked me...esp since ive got ms lye sau kuan as one of the lecturers-in-charge taking my class...for isp each class is assigned about 2-3 lecturers to guide, observe, comment and grade us according to our progress throughout the 3 weeks before we eventually go for our final presentation...

so why is this round of isp demoralizing? its cos of this lecturer named ms lye sau kuan...well she's a pretty senior lecturer as compared to the other 2 lecturers ive got for my class this time round...she's rather blunt and direct...and she rarely gives positive comments...but most of the time everything seems wrong to her and she would pierce insults powerful enough to make u feel like crying sometimes...and the thing about her is that she doesnt reli like things that are too creative and imaginative and are way out of this world...just like how initially i thought of the idea of incorporating a safari into an airline so that people have something interesting to look at while onboard a plane to another country instead of stoning for hours on flight...(i noe this is way out of reality)...other than that, shes sorta biased towards those wif really exceptional talents...

and the thing is that her lessons are on thurs...which is the end of the week cos ive not no classes on fri...so just when my other 2 lects alr commented tat everything's fine, ok and good, she is like the 'villain' who would come in at the end of the week to spoil ppl's end-of-the-week mood, leaving ppl confused about what they should do for the next step...whether they should carry on or redo all over again from scratch...but well im carrying on wif some changes here and there and since theres not much time alr...and crossing my fingers...

well im thankful at least that i didnt get her for the last round of isp last yr...and looking back at the map of that 'Shark Park' i did back then last yr i still can feel that sense of pride in me...that im proud of myself for doing that...and of course thank Him without whom i wouldnt have come up wif such an idea...

p.s. the white border shouldnt be there...but cos its a jpg so its there...
p.p.s. this whole map alone took me an entire week to complete...

and when all this is over, friends are enlisting one by one...but well...im looking forward to going to my once-in-a-lifetime exotic trip to spain this june...wooohooo!!!! =)

alrights...its back to work!!!! FULL SPEED AHEAD TIL THE FINISH LINE!!! =)

Mrs Yeo Chin Nam's 'twin'

i noe tis is kinda late but a few days back i was at bugis and for a split second i thought i saw mrs yeo chin nam! (my sec sch principal)...cos at first it was the back view and she seemed to have about the same features... she was around the same height and wearing high heels...short hair...i dunno why but my heart was beating quite fast cos i tot it was her (she noes me by face, not name)...and i pretended to walk faster and walked in front of her and looked back and it turned out tat it wasnt her....

sighs...i actually kinda miss her long 'lectures' during assembly in the morning before gg to class...but well...most of us (myself included) took granted of her speeches in the morning most of the time and always either chit chat or use the time to rush/copy unfinished work...LOL! but thinking about it years after i left i realised tat shes a kinda respectable principal...someone i quite respect...

and that aside....its the end of the 2nd last wk of my 1st yr...time does fly...

take me back, Lord

feeling rather discouraged these few days on quite a few things...and reflecting, so many times i fail God again and again...but thanks Lord for bringing me to tears once again through this song...

enlistment letters

nope...im not the one enlisting...soon but not so soon...but the heading is cos 3 of my friends have alr received their letters...quite strange cos i thot tat everyone would get their enlistment letters on the same day but oni 3 said they receive letters and the rest tat i asked havent yet...

well...i guess the real test starts here...im gonna have to prepare myself for the time 2 yrs from now when all my friends would have ord-ed and it would be my turn to go in...

and anpan man is cute! hahaha...(ok i noe this is random and has nothing to do wif my title)...hehe

i dunno why but i noe i seem quite stressed out these days but im alright...still coping well ppl...haha...but well...ok la quite stressed cos ive gt quite alot of things to do within 3 wks...but i will eventually make it la...hah...

but yea...im reli thankful for my parents...though sometimes i take them for granted...like how sometimes i find my mum irritating when she msges or calls me late at night when i will be back but hey...it shows tat she cares about me alot...and knowing tat im quite stressed these days...despite being stressed out herself at work recently as well she made me one of my favorite dishes...grilled salmon...=) and my dad? i wanted to buy a pair of nike shoes from world of sports cos my cheapskate bata shoe 'snapped' and tore which costs 180 bucks but i really like it cos i find it rather comfy and i like the design...and he gave me oni 100 bucks...and he told me tat if its really to my liking dan buy it first...

thank God for giving me great parents...i seriously cant imagine myself without either one of them...=)

Integrated Studio Project (isp)

its the isp season now...which means its the final lap of our first year...and its the last 2 wks of our year 1 before we break off for our super long holiday and get split next semester...and so many ppl are getting sick around this crucial period oso...

isp is kinda interesting in a way...they actually give u a theme and then u are free to decide for yrself wat items u wanna make with regards to the theme...quite fun once u got some idea...just like my previous isp on that 'shark park'...haahhaha...something unique...hehehe...xD

okayy...as the days go by, the day when i have to choose my major would arrive...hmm...i came here wif the intention of going into either illustration design or advertising initially...but after evaluating myself over this past 1 yr since i left poly...i realize that i still have that passion to go into animation...i still have this dream that one day my movie would hit the big screen and hit it real big but nah...i dun think im gonna fight for this dream la...i mean it would be gd if this eventually come true but this is reality anyways...and sometimes i think that some things are best to be left as a dream...

well...im still seeking Him...=)

sushi tei awesomeness

had a mini catch-up session at taka sushi tei tis morning...could have stayed a lil longer if i didnt get my dates and timings mixed up...thought the healing session was tdy at 2 so had to rush off early but it turned out that it was next wk instead of tis wk...lol...but anyways food was awesome...hahaha...bt didnt eat much tho...=)

Bukit merah macs closed!

wooo...havent been updating this space for nearly a week alr...

first of all...i didnt noe tat bukit merah macs had alr closed til i saw some ppl in my fb joining tat group "reminiscing bukit merah macs" and then i went and take a look at tat grp and tat was how i found out...so sad man...it was the place where i used to lepak, chill and study wif my sec sch mates last time cos it was just across my sch...esp those days nearing the o level exams where i had to coach some of my buddies wif maths and etc...and those days hanging there after sch before remedials and etc...how nice were those days...

i dunno why i have tis feeling...but it feels so so surreal like im in a dream...quite a similar feeling as to how someone just disappeared out of my life so suddenly...well perhaps its just cos i havent visited there for ages since i left sec sch...

well...that aside...its the 1 wk break...no...it has been reduced by 2 days...mon had to submit my stuffs for assessment and tues was makeup class for graphic design cos the teacher was absent last wk...but for now i have a mini break before its serious business wif isp (integrated studio project)....but ive still gt quite alot of things to do this break tat makes 1 wk not seem enuf...and how nice....ms lye is one of the teachers taking our class this time around...shes a biatch okayy...mark super strict somemore...

ok shant talk about sch...i noe its a boring subject to many...but tat aside...

i randomly did this...hehe...ahhh...i wanna watch how to train yr dragon again lei...hehes


ok to end...here are things i need/wanna do within this 1 wk:

1. research for isp
2. cd packaging for youth album
3. visit science centre
4. catch up wif friends who returned from nihon...

ms wu (sec sch bio teacher) posted this foto on her facebook....hahaha...damn nostalgic can! ahhh...i so miss those bio lessons in sec sch...i rmb this benedict's test to test for reducing sugar...the benedict's solution will turn into a __________ (im purposely leaving this blank for u readers to answer...not that i forgot...but just to give u guys a chance)...hehehe...xD

ive graduated from sec sch for nearly 4 yrs back alr...but up til now those fond memories are still stuck on my head...i missed those sessions in the science lab...those prac lessons we used to have back then wif ms chandran/ms wu...somehow i kinda miss studying about red blood cells, bile, pancreas and etc...haha...bio was like in one of my top 5 fav subjects list...amaths being the top (yep...not art)...followed by emaths and then art and then physics and bio...haha...
