hmmm...i dunno why...but ive never been as grumpy as tis yr during cny...probably cos its the year of the tiger tats why im behaving like a tiger...ok i noe tats lame and nt funny...but i think tats how i can describe this yr's cny...lame...for once im thankful ive got unfinished work to do...otherwise im prolly gonna be bored to death...
ok i shall explain abit why...
it seems like no ones pretty much interested in cny anymore...well at least in my family...dad's side especially...probably now i think the best part of cny would be receiving ang pows from relatives (as always)...but the mood is pretty much dead...and i rmb how in those days back when i was still in sec sch and how i used to be one of the leading ones in terms of studies...like how i was one of the top in class in my studies (top in fact for maths)...ppl were like praising me and stuffs...and now tat i left poly and am in nafa, ppl are like giving me tat cold shoulder...ok la...other dan the fact tat i still talked quite abit to my cousins...
i rmb how i used to be pretty close wif my cousins (dad's side) when we were younger...best time was i think when i was p6...tat was the yr i had a fractured elbow...but tat yr turned out to be the best cny i had wif them...went visiting alot and had much fun as young kids talking about things like pkmn and neopets...the in thing back then...but as we slowly grew...we seem macam like strangers like tat...
and i kinda hate it when adults (parents included) wanna invade into their children's privacy...like when the topic was on fb and blogs...they would go like "wat u have a blog" , "wat blog" and etc...(im assuming u noe wat i mean)...and when u dun reli wanna tell them...they would go "why so secretive?!" i noe theyre adults...but tat doesnt mean they have the right to poke in and not respect our privacy...im sure they wouldnt like it when we intrude theirs...i feel pretty irritated when they do that...
i think the best part of this yr's chinese new yr tis yr was being able to catch up wif my younger cousins from my mum's side...theyve grown so much since the last time i saw them...
yep...tat pretty much sums up wat has been gg on for cny so far for me...
